Learn to play the harp with an experienced harp teacher. Harp lessons can incorporate playing (and tuning) techniques for the different types of harps including pedal harps and lever harps. Your harp teacher will show you how to hold the harp and position yourself around the instrument. You’ll then learn the string notes, hand positions, and plucking techniques.
As you gain experience playing the harp, your teacher will help you establish a playing style and performance repertoire. You may want to pursue classical harp, new age, or celtic harp music.
