Paul Walton is the head programmer and is responsible for all things related to programming.
Having helped athletes reach the pinnacle and qualify for the CrossFit Games, he now spends his time working out ways to help improve the fitness of the Be Athletic community, as well as, his own programming for his individual clients.
A lot of thought goes into what is programmed on a weekly basis.
As he says, we are not spring chickens anymore, and neither are our members.
With a diverse membership base, largely over the age of 35, it's important to consider the amount of volume, exercise selection, and movement combinations when putting the program together.
We want our members to get the most out of their training membership, so it's all about building up our members, not breaking them down.
