About C.H. Horsemanship
I'm Carissa Holmes, I’m a level 1 EA NCAS General Coach.
I’ve taught a range of students from 4-year-olds through to 60-year-olds.
I have experience teaching a range of different levels from those who have never been on a horse before to those that are already comfortable cantering and going over some jumps.
I grew up on a farm learning to ride from a very young age, so young I don’t even remember my first pony.

I grew up on a farm learning to ride from a very young age, so young I don’t even remember my first pony.
I competed extensively at pony club and open shows in a range of disciplines from hacking in the show ring to camp drafting.
The main area I focus on now is showjumping.
I have competed in many showjumping competitions including at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Currently, I am training my off-the-track thoroughbred who I compete in showjumping but also do a lot of trick and liberty training.
I’ve been teaching horse riding since 2007 and have worked at a number of riding schools in Sydney.
This has enabled me to grow as an instructor learning different systems so that I can adapt my lessons to suit people with disabilities as well.
