At Charlesworth Ballet School (CBS), where expert tuition in classical Ballet has been offered since 1960, our syllabus is based on the fundamentals of the Vaganova method of training devised by the Russian dancer and pedagogue Agrippina Vaganova. We have devised an exceptional and diverse training programme in classical Ballet as well as other dance genres such as contemporary, Spanish dance, musical theatre, Jazz and performance. Lessons are designed to cater to the student’s age and ability with awareness of the emotional, physical, and intellectual development of the child or young adult. Our aspiration is to provide a joyful, enriching, and satisfying experience for each student of the Charlesworth Ballet School.
