Since 1982 Encore Dance has been spreading the joy of dance to Hobart and has provided quality dance training in a low-key, fun, positive and family-friendly atmosphere. Sharon has always enjoyed everything dance. Teaching and running a performing arts school was always her dream as a little girl. Seeing the joy produced when a dancer achieves new skills and takes that step from enjoying to really falling in love with dance! She feels very privileged to lead a fabulous team who brings its own unique strengths to Encore.

Our dance classes cover all facets from the recreational dancer to opportunities for the dancer wishing to be challenged more. All of our classes combine teaching proper technique, self-esteem, working with fellow students, and respect. We are passionate about bringing the joy and benefits of dance to as many people as possible.
