Forced to retire from infantry due to back injuries, he worked in the club attached to the 6th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment, the beginning of his passion for coffee.
When he entered the club he quickly took on the role of the head barista, serving about 16kg per week.
By the time he left a year later, he had become assistant manager, and the club now served 40-50kg of coffee a week as well as craft beers and a selection of foods.
Coffee is an art form, and like many art forms there are a number of ways that people will apply what they love so much, this company is our philosophy.
We believe in never obtaining beans that have been sourced unethically, nor do we believe that all of the current “ethical trade models” work and will always be working towards a better system for the farmers.
We believe that the coffee you buy should be a great product and not low-grade beans to “fill in” the order.
We have a passion for coffee and want to ensure that all baristas that serve our coffee and represent our brand are trained to a very high standard.
We want to make sure that the customer at home is able to make great coffee without leaving their house and are working on videos that will teach you about coffee.
