About Forge Martial Arts
At Forge, we take a self defence-first approach to Jiu-Jitsu to keep things honest and give all our clients a solid foundation.
We also play the sport of BJJ for longevity, practicality, and the ability to pressure test our training.
Finally, we aim to improve lives both on and off the mat through this Art as we strive to be the best version of ourselves.
We have a strict ‘NO MEATHEAD’ policy which aims to provide a training environment free from ego, machismo and the ‘HULK SMASH’ mentality you may find elsewhere and you definitely won’t be considered ‘fresh meat’ as a beginner on our mats.

You will be nurtured to the point of being ready to handle the progressive intensity, and we only take on good people who support and contribute to this mentality of working with and challenging one another.
We also have separate BJJ-based martial arts classes for our Juniors (5-11) and Teens BJJ (11-16).
Personal and small group private training is also available.
So if you would like to grapple with the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) as it was meant to be, then we are the place for you.
