Nowadays Gold Coast Archery Club is a Social Community Club, run entirely by volunteers who are archers themselves. We only shoot outdoor target archery using recurve, compound, barebow and longbows. The club members’ ages ranged from ten to eighty years plus. Archery is a sport that most people can participate in, including many with disabilities.

Nowadays Gold Coast Archery Club is a Social Community Club, run entirely by volunteers who are archers themselves. We only shoot outdoor target archery using recurve, compound, barebow and longbows. The club members’ ages ranged from ten to eighty years plus. Archery is a sport that most people can participate in, including many with disabilities. You do not have to have any special physical attributes to become good at the sport, so come along and have a go. It’s great fun and the members are friendly and supportive! Archery can be enjoyed at many levels: casual, social or for the competitively minded, shooting at Club, State, National and International levels.
