At Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu Newcastle, we offer a holistic approach to learning jiu-jitsu. Our programs start by providing a solid foundation of the fundamentals in self-defence and sport jiu-jitsu to support the goals of everyone, from 7-year-olds to high-level competitors or military/law enforcement. Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu Newcastle is managed by Head Instructor and founder Simon 'Taree' Bath. Taree is currently a first degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt under Professor Dave Camarillo.

He has competed at all belt stages and across the various age divisions with medals at State, National and International levels. With a Cert IV in fitness and personal training, as well as 16 years of coaching experience, Taree has an educated and well-rounded approach to training and teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
