About Hobart Dance Academy

Ali has been dancing her entire life. She began her dance training in a wide variety of styles including Jazz, Classical, Lyrical and Acrobatics with Ken McSwain at the age of 6. Her love for dance and her students is immense and she is delighted to be taking on the role of Director of Hobart Dance Academy. Located in North Hobart, we have 4 studios that offer a variety of classes for all ages.

Located in North Hobart, we have 4 studios that offer a variety of classes for all ages. Our primary objective is to undertake a training program of warm-ups and dance techniques that are fun, satisfying and of a standard that would enable HDA-enrolled dancers to pursue dance at a professional level. A true triple-threat school, dancers at HDA have the opportunity to perform several times a year at dance competitions, local events and our end-of-year concert.
