The John Carew Swim School is a family-run business with a rich history, that has been coaching generations of children since the early 1960s.
Ignited by his passion for the water and a keen interest in technique and timing, John Carew founded his own swim school to pass on his knowledge.
He devoted his entire life to swimming and was recognized for it by the industry through the honour of coaching the Australian Swim Team at the Olympics on three separate occasions.
Your child's swim skills are developed to their ability in a safe, comfortable aquatic environment.

After developing water safety skills the journey of learning the four swimming strokes is undertaken.
They will be taught the correct technique for freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly.
Our philosophy and reputation for technique mean we will take the time to ensure the foundation skills for each stroke is correct before progressing your child.
