About Jun's Kitchen
I was born and lived in Tokyo before coming to Perth in 1996.
I grew up in a family that ran various restaurants in Tokyo and this passion for cooking has been passed down through my family.
I worked mainly in the hospitality industry and also taught Japanese for 4 years at a private high school in Perth before returning to Japan in 2004 for 7 years.
In my daily life I don't just cook Japanese food, I cook all sorts of food, Italian, Asian, BBQ and especially Chinese.

After having various fun cooking sessions with my friends at home and also giving a few casual private cooking lessons to those who wanted to try cooking some Japanese dishes, I decided to offer this cooking experience to anyone wanting to cook Japanese food.
So I officially started these cooking classes, Jun's Kitchen in 2017, and have been enjoying it so much! The venue is my own family kitchen and I hope everyone enjoys a cosy homely atmosphere during the class.
You can learn how to make popular dishes from Japan, and even make some delicious meals you would have never seen on a restaurant menu before.
