Located on a 100-acre vineyard, we are a family-friendly, pet-friendly café with a casual vibe.
The café lunch menu features all your favourite food truck-inspired dishes showcasing our specialized smokehouse produce including charcuterie and low-n-slow bbq.
Our chef-lead classes include Thai Street Food and Low and Slow Smoking.
All tickets include a two-hour class and lunch to enjoy on-site or to take home, a souvenir apron, a glass of wine or beer, and a recipe booklet.

Classes are hosted by Majors Lane Cooking School and Lovedale Smokehouse’s owner, chef, and pitmaster, Ben Sales.
Ben, a level 4 qualified chef, has hosted our cooking classes since they commenced in 2007.
Ben is extremely passionate about food and loves inspiring participants with his in-depth knowledge, skills, travel, and food experiences.
With over 30 years as a Head Chef in the Hunter Valley Ben knows all of the tricks of the trade and looks forward to sharing them with you.
