About Mandurah Barista Training
As a hospitality professional for as long as care to remember, my career began by taking my chef’s qualifications, along with butchery, bakery and silver service.
This opened amazing doors for me allowing me to travel the world and own two restaurants of my own in the UK, one fine dining and one family eatery.
After gaining my Post Graduate degree in teaching in the UK, we landed in Australia in 2008 and hung up my whites and began teaching commercial cookery, hospitality and training apprentice bakers in the workplace.
My job is to make sure people have what they need to get that all-important job, help them overcome obstacles, and ensure they feel empowered to do their work.

We train in a four-hour intensive course.
In the first 10 minutes, we talk about the different types of beans and the importance of the right grind.
The remainder of the 4 hours is practice, practice, practice!.
