About Pianoforte Music Methods
I take a holistic approach to teach my students, catering lessons to their individual needs, strengths and interests.
I provide a range of teaching methods depending on the student, from beginner, intermediate and advanced.
I have a particular interest in modern styles like rock, jazz, Latin and blues.
However, my emphasis is on teaching AMEB classical and piano for leisure and I provide a diverse program to cover as many composers and styles as possible to create a well-rounded music education.

I've been teaching instrumental piano for over ten years and have worked in several primary and secondary schools around Melbourne.
Having trained, taught and mentored at Yamaha Music School for several years, has given me a breadth of experience in teaching young children, using a combination of singing, playing and theory in class.
Along with teaching private one-on-one piano lessons, I also teach AMEB music theory and prepare students for entry into Victorian Eisteddfods, and auditions for school Music Scholarships.
