About Surf Camp Byron Bay
The Byron Bay Surf School – operator of Surf Camp Byron Bay – is Byron Bay’s original surf school, teaching locals and visitors how to surf since 1996.
Over that time, we’ve taught from 3 locations in town including the fabled Surf School House on Jonson Street where surf dreams were made and people fell in love.
Byron Bay Surf School is one of the few surf schools in town actually licensed to teach in Byron Bay which means no lengthy bus trips first to Ballina or Lennox Head first, away from Byron’s best learner waves.
We teach on Byron’s beach, just a 1-minute walk through the dunes from the hostel and you’re ready to surf.
