About The Voice Gym

The Voice Gym is a voice studio that specialises in The Estill Model. We separate craft, artistry and performance skills to give you the ability to zone in and tell your story through song or speech in a healthful manner. We want the student to create their artistry based on their skills of technique, musicality choices, groove and narrative. Stephanie and Gerald Marko are the directors of TVG and are both Estill Mentor Course Instructors with Service Distinction and Testing Privileges.

We are passionate about teaching voice with no aesthetic bias and a whole lot of fun and play to get there. We are ‘process’ focused so the student can achieve the goal time and time again. This leads to the singer/speaker having the skills to choose and achieve the artistry, musicality, and groove they can imagine themselves to have! Both Gerald and Stephanie are puzzlers. Craft offers a creative and inspiring opportunity for them to find and solve the issues and release the artistry choices and performance. Steph and Gee have extensive performance experience in a wide range of genres and styles, specialising in a contemporary voice, music theatre and ‘cross-over’ from opera/classical voicing to contemporary for singers and teachers. They enjoy working with open and courageous singers and teachers who continue to be learners. They also work in conjunction with speech and language pathologists and otolaryngologists to assist/coach injured voices to recover and return to healthier habits .
