Transcend Guitar School offers guitar lessons of all types including six and seven-string electric guitar, acoustic guitar, classical guitar and bass guitar. We also offer graded courses from AMEB, Rockschool and ANZCA. We specialize in goal setting for kids and adults, songwriting and composition, music theory, extended instruments such as seven-string guitars and modern advanced techniques for people wanting to push the limits of their abilities. We off three different routes for examinations including AMEB (classical), AMEB Rockschool (acoustic, electric and bass) and ANZCA (modern and classical).

We specialize in goal setting for kids and adults, songwriting and composition, music theory, extended instruments such as seven-string guitars and modern advanced techniques for people wanting to push the limits of their abilities. We off three different routes for examinations including AMEB (classical), AMEB Rockschool (acoustic, electric and bass) and ANZCA (modern and classical). We also offer informal lessons which include a focus on learning songs and building technical skills along the way to reach your best result. Another option for more advanced pupils is extreme techniques like tapping, sweeping, thumping and other innovative techniques. Sight reading is also offered, we use Mel Bay's Modern Guitar method.
