First and second lessons: free.
There is a discount for seniors.
First FREE lesson: the aim of this lesson is to understand student's needs and assess the level of Spanish to organize an engaged plan.
Second FREE lesson: It is a trial lesson, it means an example of my lessons.
Then, we can organize a package.
Please, before thinking of hiring a package of classes send me a message, if you can, explaining your learning situation.
Focus: all ages with a special emphasis on SENIOR GROUPS.
Please, do not buy books.
I will provide the material.
Once again, the lessons are customized according to the student's needs.

Meeting place: I moved to Central Coast five years ago and this is a Spanish undertaking to support all those that wish to start or continue a Spanish learning adventure in Central Coast.
For different reasons many people living on the Central Coast do not have access or time to commute to the city or they prefer face to face lessons.
This is a journey and call it: Why not Spanish for everyone? I can visit a student's home or close the library, school, etc.
It is always possible to arrange the location.
The lessons can be also online by ZOOM, TEAMS.
Preferably, my lessons are focused on a Level A1 and A2; this is a classification given by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (Marco Común Europeo de Referencia para las lenguas) and it means that
the classes point to students without Spanish acknowledge or those with a Spanish background (i.
e: they took some Spanish lessons, work or relative environment with Spanish background, or simply they love to learn the language) I also had the experience to learn a second language and one of the motivating factors to learn a language is the feeling of inclusion, not to experience isolation because we cannot communicate in the language of the environment.
This is called linguistic anxiety and it occurs in both adults and kids.
For this reason I developed a deep interest in transmitting Spanish to seniors groups
The lessons that I offer have two characteristics:
1) customized because they adapt to individual interests and goals.
2) communicational because to speak a language is a communication tool that allows us to socialize and reach aims.
The structure of my lessons has three sections:
the first one is based on vocabulary and grammar content that will be used in that lesson;
the second one is to put into practice the first section with cultural and communicational examples and
the third section is focused on the revision with extra-activities to give the opportunity to the student to reflect and secure what was learnt during the class and also give me the chance to offer feedback at the beginning of the following class.
There is a connection between my lessons to allow that the learning of the language is integrative and gradual.
By experience, we learn a language by repetition and integrating concepts and sentences.
In summary, my lessons are the result of interplay between the student and myself as teacher and they will depend on what the student wishes to reach, why the student needs it and how the student wishes to do it.
