Yamato Aikido International was founded by Murat Aktas Sensei in Perth in 2009. Yamato Aikido International branch head dojo of Gyokushin Ryu Aikido Perth Western Australia is a member of the International Gyokushin Ryu Aikido (IGRAF) and Australian Gyokushin Ryu Aikido Federation (AGRAF). Yamato Aikido International is a traditional Japanese martial art that is a harmonious blend of Judo, Jujutsu, Karate and Kenjutsu and bases its teaching on the principles of mutual aid and prosperity, as well as the best use of energy. Yamato Aikido encourages all students to maintain the purity of technique and martial spirit.
